    MicroREC + Beamsplitter

    A revolutionary device that attaches your smartphone to your microscope or slit lamp in a few clicks, doesn’t occupy oculars, and allows for instant recording of ophthalmic, optometric, neurologic, and other types of microsurgeries. It automates your medical imagery recording and replaces bulky self-made systems or expensive technologies, making it accessible for many practitioners. You can use MicroREC + Beamsplitter on your own or share it with colleagues.

    How to Use

    Once connected, the MicroREC for Medical Imagery app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The app is quick and easy to navigate and set up. Videos can be taken at the touch of a button, with or without sound, using the high-quality optic in the eyepiece of the MicroREC + Beamsplitter and the impressive capabilities of modern smartphone cameras to capture images in up to 8K resolution.

    MicroREC Components

    The MicroREC + Beamsplitter consists of several parts: a microscope adapter that connects to the beam splitter of the microscope, a phone holder, and a universal tube that connects them both together and contains a built-in eyepiece on which the phone sits. If your microscope does not have a beam splitter, one can be purchased separately.

    The MicroREC optical system is lightweight, easy to install, and comes in a small, compact case. You can install MicroREC in any operating room or carry it with you.

    MicroREC App for Medical Imagery

    Capture microscopy and slit lamp imagery with ease. The MicroREC app allows you to adjust camera settings to operating room conditions, shoot and store content in a dedicated gallery separate from your personal files, and broadcast it on social media or to screens. It works with any microscopy recording system, even if you shoot the content manually.
